I would honestly say that the food is so remarkably delightful at the already legendary Nourish Bistro in Banff that our beloved "QUEEN of POP", "MADONNA", could happily do the dishes for a complementary dish. The tucked away quaint bistro has held the number one spot on "Trip Advisory" with a score of 98% level of happiness from served clients over the last 18 consecutive months. After my recent move back home I was eager to try out the newly re owned Eco Friendly operation.

Even with my first visit I was compelled to take out my iPhone to make a photograph of the amazing edible art fiesta before my very hungry eyes. While performing the assignment of capturing 1 to 2 minute glimpses of these yummy entries it put me into a spiral of observations with how much I adore my Summer fruit.

The Summer Species of fruit almost seems endless until we have to wait for the importers to bring in the fresh global resources when the regional markets run dry. Art is very much like a fruit because Archetypal images are harvested from seeds of ideas which must be planted to yield the final symbolic benefactor. For all creatures that roam the Earth each and every creature agrees that one fruit is desired the most from the flourishing hands of the Spring and Summer Seasons on Earth. This one fruit is so many times forgotten until we need it the most. The reason why is because many  of us are subjected to the out of sight out of mind aspect of our modern walks of life.

Oxygen is Light. In all Religion and Scientific texts this fact is agreed. It is the most vital fruit for all life on Earth and is harvested from the seasons of Spring and Summer alone. In this day of humanity it's as  pragmatic to cut down a forest as it would be to cut down an orchard. This means every winter life on Earth creates harming toxins while all of our hard working fruit trees rest from their labors to convert life damaging poisons into life bearing Oxygen while they are productive all spring and summer long. Some how in our race for technology we have forgotten this most vital balance is necessary for life on Earth.

Recently, I was so captivated with a client sharing her line of work with me that I realized the industry I work in is suffocating life on Earth. However, there are existing solutions all ready and they are just waiting for us to embrace them. Not to freak any of my clients out but every day I must wake up with knowing that we are creating over 9 million cars a year and cutting down 12 billion trees in the same go for the needs of Humanity in our traditional modern life styles. I do not need to explain what happens to life on Earth for 7 billion people when this is the annual activity for a population which is growing by more than 200,000 new precious babies a day.

With all these clear hard facts in front of me is why we have rectified our business practices for our client's future children in our "Hearts"  and "Minds". Our new packages that are now ready for release will cease to use all packaging for shipping over great distances by providing our client's with quality printers that we are professionally confident with in their regional market place.

Recently we have worked with a greatly respected provider for thousands of professional event photographers world wide that became available to ease the shipping and printing work flow with our industry's very hectic days. However after much research in the newly formed partnership with them we began observing the harm of such a operation has over great distances of product travel. In respect of this global impact of our modern Art form of communication we have chosen to support respected localized printers in the home towns of our supporting clients to reduce the shipping cost, carbon  foot print, and mercury impact of all of our photography packages. Clients will also have the free choice of using their favorite long term regional printers as well.

Please understand currently the use of all paper products produced by trees has the immediate harm on the planet that could take at least  200 years for the Earth to recover from without any human activity what so ever. This conclusion is from the fact our Forrest are about 10% of what they were at the beginning point of the industrial revolution. Currently 1.3 billion trees of fresh paper pulp are consumed here in North America each year which makes up 35% of the paper consumption by Earth's Human population.

As North Americans we are 5% of this population. We are a intelligent continent per ca pita,  with all sorts of scientific resources which provides us with the "Working Knowledge" that we all know better than the task we are performing today. Our Co Decision of the Survival of our Modern Civilization is all going to boil down to the resolve of taking a "Proven Greener Path" or not.

Take Care Everyone,

Johnny

As we begin to make the final adjustments to our NEW and Environmentally IMPROVED Digital Wedding Packages. Our clients are enjoying improvements that go beyond their expectations. As you search for a wedding photographer for your most hopeful day that celebrates a happy future together we are assembling Wedding Packages that insures a greener future with so many Environmental issues addressed and resolved with the Carbon and Mercury footprint always in mind to be reduced.

Us North Americans really enjoy our Social Media more than any other continent on the planet and the environmental impact is beyond comprehension for most. With over 20 years of having a media based career and being what is considered half way through my life I am very serious about what my professional image stands for while Adventures in Photography Ltd. operates in a World Heritage Site.

Changing the world and improving the scope of our future starts with the individual consumer. I really don't expect others to be as critical as I am however when the United Nation's state there are only 30 odd years of Fish left in the Sea and only so many Trees left in our forests one has to take to heart what must be done for our children's future.

All the alternatives are there and the increasing demand is making it very affordable. We just have to zip our old traditional activities and look to live in a more life preserving way. Here at Adventures in Photography Ltd. we have decided to do our part and take a stand to reduce our Carbon and Mercury Footprint across the board. Doing so we hope that our current and future clients start to make the same rectifications. In 2009 we went paperless in Banff National Park with our third party printers outside of the region and we have given our clients the open option to print their images in their hometowns to reduce the carbon footprint caused by shipping. In 2010 we are going Solar with our electrical needs because it is a lot easier than we ever thought it would be and the technology is so user friendly. Now we can set up solar cells that power our computers at a very affordable rate and it will pay for the cost in only months, not years.

Hello Everyone, Just little ole me again. While we are finalizing the final details of our 2010 and 2011 package upgrades.  I thought I would show you some great images from a very recent Lake Louise Elopement Ceremony. This is one of several edits the client is enjoying as I have several ways to edit a package for taste. Banff and Lake Louise are dream destinations all year round. However the off season which is pretty much from October 1st, to June 1st is an amazing time for couples because 75% of the traffic that visits the parks is in the Summer months. This makes couples feel as though they have the whole region to themselves. This couple flew all the way from Bangkok to Elope at Lake Louise with our company. They choose us because we have custom adventure packages for all types of couples and editing for all tastes of photography.

We will be working very hard to post all of our new packages pages in perfect order in the next 24 hours.

All The Best,

Johnny

Here is a little slide show I tossed together seeing that the first day of Spring is less than a month away!

Valerie and Tim are a really cool couple that took no time at all to decide choose us for their wedding at the Rimrock. Their crowd was to much fun to work with and was not really interested in wasting any time to get at it and have a party of a life time in the sky amongst the towering crags of Banff in the amazing Canadian Rockies.

Valerie just knew right off the bat that I was going to work hard to capture a lot of great photos without worrying about what time my watch said.

It's all about the day with me and we just can't get it back. - Here is some of their great horizontal images...

In 2010 all my clients are getting upgraded with HD Movie Slide Shows included. This new feature will be added when our new and improved digital Wedding and Elopement packages are released on Monday or Tuesday - the 22nd or 23rd of February!!!

We have been working very hard to put together packages that are just beyond anything we have offered before and still affordable for every budget!

Well what can I say! My clients have been amazing this year! Here is a combo slide show of a couple on an engagement session and a family portrait of 4. We have our new Photos for Flipper 1 hour packages now starting at only $60 for an hour of fun photos! Couples and families receive their full resolution retouched images in a .zip file the same day! Couples can enjoy 30 to 60 great images in full resolution. Price includes G.S.T. and 6 dollars is donated to OPS!

Photos for Flipper is a Photo Marathon we are running from February 20th, 2009 to November 1st. 2010. Every client will fill out a special inquiry form so we can report monthly our success in making world know how important the dolphins are to us and how we are responsible for their well being.

Our Archival Print Marathon will also be starting this week. 100% of our net profits will also be donated to support OPS. Remember, everything starts with the consumer. We control the world markets in choosing how we desire to invest or spend our incomes. It took well over the history of human race to fill the oceans with the fish and the United Nations have clearly noted in less than 40 years all the fish will be gone if something does not change soon.

We are an amazing species however our planet is begging for mercy while we are enjoying our modern media that is causing problems around the globe. We run a very electrical outfit. In 2010 we are working hard so our Computers, battery chargers, and other electronic needs are solar driven. If our friends over at OPS can do it we all can do it.

We will keep you informed about our Photos for Flipper photo Marathon Success!

All the Best,

Johnny
