Running with Wolves

Wolves work to conserve their energy. Even running in a photograph like this has a huge energy expense. Wolves only hunt when they are hungry and they have no other choice. The growth of civilization has forced the wolf to hunt more do to impact we have had on of his natural environment. A wolf would rather prey on the weak, or even dine on a road kill than risk being injured hunting a formidable beast his own size or larger.
