Early October Moraine Lake in Banff National Park

Many photographers pursue photos of Moraine Lake around the Summer Solstice when the sun is high enough in the horizon to get fair light on all the peaks. I pursue images of Moraine all the time as you just never know the mood the lake wil show you on your trip in. This photograph was taken in early October at around noon. I was pleased with the results to say the least.
