Alpine View of Mount Assiniboine in Banff from Mount Rundle

This morning photo of Mount Assiniboine was taken on the summit of Mount Rundle just after sunrise. Assiniboine is the Matterhorn of the Canadian Rockies. In this skyline panoramic the peak is the arrowhead peak on the horizon. I am planing a spring trip into Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park very soon to have a closer photography session with this amazing peak which is the third highest in the Canadian Rockies and visible from most summits in Banff National Park.
