Alpine Glow over Mount Kidd just East of Banff
Mount Kidd is a peak that dominates the horizon along highway 40 in Kananaskis Provincial Park. This part of the Eastern Canadian Rockies is very dynamic for a number of reasons. One is you have views of older glacier cut valleys mixed with much younger stream and river cut valleys. Photography of this Eastern Rockies Park produces photos that are much different than in Banff National Park that meets this parks western boarders.
