The Life Flowing Bow River East of Banff National Park

The Bow River feeds a great part of Alberta as one third of its flow is diverted to feed many thirsty Albertan farms. This photo of the mighty Bow River flows past Banff.This photo just east of downtown Canmore with Mount Rundle making a fortress backdrop.This photo exhibits a moderate river but what we can't see is that this is only 10% of the physical river. The remaining 90% is hidden underground!
