Introducing The Banff Tree Free Press
In all my wedding photography career we have never heard a client complain about receiving to many extra images in their package. In fact I always pride myself on how many extras we have always been able to capture over the last 15 years since our very first wedding at the Banff Springs Hotel. Life has been quite the ride for the last 15 years of covering Weddings and I am very happy to say everything in the Wedding Photography industry has not been done! For 2010, we are celebrating 15 years in the Canadian Rockies and the the Mountain Parks of Western Canada. All of our "New Tree Free Photography Services " have been on promotion since January 1st 2010. One of our promotions is our "Free Engagement" session with our already the most affordable elopement and wedding packages in the Canadian Rockies. In 15 years we have never have offered a free engagement session and in our 2011 packages this will continue because clients are really liking the service. Already a dozen clients have received engagement packages Via our new legendary "ZIPPER" destination photography delivery service!
We are also happy to unveil our "Advent Tree Free Packages". Over the passing 6 months of our business's dormant season we have been taking courses in video and cine-photography and with the new media clobbering abilities of the Creative Suite 5, Adventures in Photography is truly going where Wedding Photography and Event Photography has never gone before. With 7 years of experience as a digital pro in the Canadian Rockies and now enjoying programs that allow us to produce 1000 images a day the sky is truly the limit.
Video is becoming more of our daily work flow however photography is still our primary operation. However with the changes of our camera features with with new hd 1080p video mode we have made the right choice in dropping our in house album manufacturing and replaced it with video production simply because we feel that if such pro active measures are not made now we will simply be left behind in the digital race.
Introducing the new "Banff Tree Free Press!"
Yes, we have gone tree free and we are showing the world of travelers coming to Banff how to print their beloved photos of this lovely region on tree papers at a very affordable price right from their own photo printers at home with better results than from a forest destroying ONE HOUR LAB!
Our most attractive "Tree Free Papers" that catches my eye is ViaStone. Which I will post the link below. The reason I am enjoying this paper so much is because of several key reasons. For the consumer it has an very attractive price, but most importantly what I like is that the paper is created with a mineral base not a plant base resources which actually merits better print quality!
This is truly a paper with an almost zero ecological impact and it has my thumbs up for sure folks! So print on. The "Banff Tree Free Press" will be here for Consumer and Professional Photographers alike. I have been in the paper industry my entire life and that includes owning a book store in Banff, on Banff avenue turning over well over 100,000 items every few months in tourism related paper media and my book store was only one of the many in the Canadian Rockies. The store's paper sales in the "Town of Banff" was the second largest for Publishers such as Altitude Publishing. The top Paper seller was "The Banff Book and Art Den" at that time however both operations are now closed.
Unless you have owned a book store or any other type of high volume paper selling business it is really beyond imaginable how much paper we are really printing for all social media. When I closed my bookstore down in 2004 the store had 400,000 paper items in its inventory. Which means our Banff location would sell well over 1 million sheets of paper a year! Most of what we sold would never be recycled and kept on walls, in photo albums, and in book shelves. Just like the famous lyrics of a song the paper industry "is not pretty she just looks that way" and when you have enjoyed over 20 years of income from the industry without ever truly giving something back life has it's way of waking you up to a whole new level of responsibility when your whole life counts on clients that enjoy printing your art.
Here is the link to the coolest paper on the planet that plants did not have to work to produce!
