Walking with Wolves in the Canadian Rockies by Adventures in Photography Ltd.
The above video was captured by a client and edited by Adventures in Photography. ltd
When you come to the Canadian Rockies you are on an Adventure, a Grand Escape from your everyday routine. This escape is your soul's inner desire to return to the connection you had with your Mother Earth that you have lost on your trek through the ups and down of the Civilized Industrial World.
With no other address than The Canadian Rockies over the years has made our company what it is and that is very aware of what Canadians and Northern Americans are creating for our Future Generations. The world is so different than what it was when Bill Peyto made the Canadian Rockies famous so few decades ago. Our Wolf Tours are the most exciting Tours in the Canadian Rockies. You can feel the breath of a Keystone predator that was almost wiped out completely by the hands of Humans and today still struggles to exist in lands set aside for their natural survival. Animals are just like humans. They love their own. They have families that are living with the reality that their futures are in the hands of humanities self awareness or ignorance of their very hand of its own need to survive in a forever changing world.
In the last 20 years in the Bow Valley I have been granted the life to provide many types of services for travelers all over the world and gain much admiration for efforts achieved with my client's basic investment. This has been my only goal from the very start of my photographic Career at Lake Louise Ski Area. After years of struggling to become more digitally profound without the comfort of a structured learning environment with our transition from film in real world destination circumstances. I am happy to say after my first days of holding the camera for a pay check at Lake Louise 18 years ago. Today Google still ranks Adventures in Photography Ltd. to be the most popular photographer with the Key Words "Lake Louise Photographer or Photography " for the region and we are working tirelessly to hold that spot to make our clients proud of thier investment with the observation that only a "Sustainable " and "Accountable Customer Service" is the only service a corporation should provide on our one and only "Planet Earth".
Every year Adventures in Photography Ltd. in tradition provides many charitable services in the Canadian Rockies to better the planet for all living things which also includes regular contributions to Wildlife Centres. On top of our normal daily causes this Summer while we cover our major wedding venues which are considered to be the premier venues in Canada we are also documenting the actual Wedding Industry Paper Trail which will wrap a huge ribbon around the Earth many times over for much of that ribbon only to be discarded. Also, how the habitat that is needed for the Gray or Timber Wolf is being destroyed on a daily basis in Canada for the social paper media of all types consumed on Canadian Wedding Days.
Unlike the days when Canada was first pioneered there is less Canadians than ever before living in or very near to wilderness regions for the sake of modern travel convenience. This forces us to live in a out of sight out of mind day to day activity. However being a photographer of the nature first and people second - the best combination that has kept us alive and near the top for 20 years means we are very close to individuals trying solve the problems of Civilization V.S. Nature which is currently on a road with nothing more than a dead end.
Consumers control change by their buying choices. It is up to Industry Leaders to provide the best choice for a sustainable and profitable future for all parties at play including; Resource, Consumer Satisfaction, and over all profitability for all thee parties, Industry, Consumers, and Resource with zero impact.
On your Wedding day you do consume some thing Mother Canada holds very dear to her and that is her wilderness. Clear cutting is not pretty and tens of thousands of species are going extinct each year to deforestation and all the Rain Forrest will be gone in my personal life time and I have been in this paper industry that is consuming 4 billion trees a year for pulp all of my life.
I am not here to scrap and get thrown in jail over some kind of public activist notoriety. We are only changing the products I refer and promote to my clients to show them I am very interested in the welfare for all Canadians, of all species. To this day I hold the letter we received from the Minister of Environment, David Anderson years ago for our awarness work for the Grizzly Bear and the Alberta Sport Hunt issues during the operation of our past bookstore on a daily basis. We do carry out such daily activities because our resource for our business is the lives of plants and animals that makes Western Canada so Super Natural!
Please for the sake of all living things please slow down while traveling through the Mountain Parks. They are here for you to be inspired by how wonderful nature really is over civilization. Please don't promote road kill that can in turn kill a endangered Keystone species in the food chain such as our lovely Timber Wolves of Canada.
Until next time "Everywhere we look there is a world to see! - That's Adventures in Photography!!"
